Background and Interests:

Mark Holland, born on October 16, 1974, in Pickering, Ontario, has always held a deep-seated interest in politics. Growing up in Pickering, a suburb east of Toronto, his passion for the subject remained unwavering throughout his high school years.

Holland pursued higher education at the University of Toronto, where he majored in Political Science and History. His academic journey continued at Southern Methodist University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA), and later at Iliff School of Theology and Saint Paul School of Theology, where he obtained a Master of Divinity (MDiv) and a Doctor of Ministry (DMin), respectively.

Mark Holland's passion for helping people has been a driving force throughout his life. As a lifelong resident of Ajax, he has been deeply committed to serving his community.

His political journey began when he was first elected as the Member of Parliament for Ajax. Since then, he has held several important roles, including Canada's Minister of Health.
